Of the tools shared with us for this class, there are 3 that stand out the most for me. 1. ReadWriteThink: I am always looking for tools and strategies to incorporate more writing into my curriculum. This site give me some great templates and other ideas to inject effective writing strategies into the my lesson plans. 2. eMedia: I have used this resource extensively in the past and will continue to do so. The videos are not always the best quality, but they cover nearly every content area. I have worked with several teachers in our school to use video effectively in the classroom. I created a webpage to host the learning materials we created for this lesson on jhs.canyonsdistrict.org 3. UTIPS: This is a new tool for me, but I am looking forward to learning more about it. I have had several teachers ask for more help with this, so I have been learning more about it myself. So far, it looks like a great way to give formative assessments for any class. | |
